Mike Hall

Assistant Director of Architectural Services

Mike.JPGMike Hall is an Assistant Director of Architectural Services for the state School Building Authority. Since joining the SBA in 2006, Mike has overseen the design and construction of many new K-12 schools all around the state that totaled roughly $200 million at any given time. Recent projects he has worked on include the new Ceredo-Kenova Elementary in Wayne County, a new Iaeger-Panther Elementary in McDowell County, and the renovation of both Moorefield High and East Hardy High School in Hardy County. Mike has been involved in the construction industry for more than 26 years, and since joining the SBA, has had a hand in projects in nearly all 55 counties.

Mike is a native of Wayne County and a graduate of Buffalo High School. He earned a Business Management Degree from Marshall University. Prior to his service at the SBA, Mike worked as controller, commercial salesman, and marketing representative in the roofing industry, and is currently the in-house roofing expert for the SBA. Mike is a member of the Counsel of Educational Facilities Planners International (CEFPI) and holds a Recognized Educational Facility Planner (REFP) Certification.

Mike is very involved in his local community where he has been a youth and middle school and high school coach for 24 years. He currently coaches the track and wrestling teams at Spring Valley High School in Wayne County.
